Request for Public Health Inquest and Investigation into Children’s
Death in MA Dear
Commissioner Ferguson, Ablechild
has been contacted by a resident of Dartmouth MA, Mrs. Debbie Lemos.
Mrs. Lemos reported several recent fatalities of children that
raise serious public health concerns relating to psychiatric drugs.
Ablechild requests an immediate inquest and full investigation into
the following deaths: Kaitlyn
Kennedy of Midway Massachusetts Rhyan
Fleming Age 14 of Marshfield MA Jacob
Andre Age 5 of Dartmouth MA Ablechild
would like to request the written procedure that the health department
follows to ensure that the families of victim’s of psychiatric drug
toxicity are educated on the different types of toxicity screening that
can be conducted to help determine the cause of death.
For example, does the victim’s family have to request certain
toxicity screenings? And how
does the victim’s family know to request these?
In other words, what means does the public health department
provide to ensure that a complete screening is conducted on a child at the
time of autopsy? In
addition, Ablechild, would also like to know if the medical
examiner/coroner has records of the amounts of deaths associated with
particular antidepressants or other psychiatric drugs?
If so, is the medical examiner required by law to report their
findings to the FDA and to the public? Our
organization needs this information to ensure that children’s rights are
protected and to work to decrease the amount of deaths that are associated
with these psychiatric drugs. We
