Joe is a man that is always giving and engaged in creativity. He has the strength, the knowledge, and spirit to be on the front lines for humanity.

James has this gift of giving you courage you never thought you had. It happened to me. I had never publicly spoken out that I was related to Jim Comey, the former “Fired” FBI Director. Yet, I found myself publicly admitting that (not an easy task) when James told the story of how the FBI broke down his door and stole his phone and journalistic tools, in a talk he gave in Connecticut. I knew I wanted to help him in any way possible. James came to Vero Beach a little over a year ago. James walked into that event after doing a radio show interview on the way, with a cell phone to his ear speaking to an FBI agent potentially coming forward with inside information on the massive corruption that exists inside the FBI – multitasking at the highest level. 

He poured out his energy into the room. By the end of the evening, he would be embraced by the Former “wrong side of history” … FBI Director, Comey’s Aunt, my mom, with love and support. She has read all of James’ books! Right mom? His work on Big Pharma – The Pfizer expose’ was grabbing attention, in fact, I believe it received over 50 million views. It was shortly after the event in Vero his entire organization that he created would stab him in the back, and rob him of his work. What would break a man, only made James stronger. He wasted no time pulling the pieces of his life back together. We call that the survival of the “dark night of the soul”. Few make it through that ordeal. His work is dangerous, important, and powerful. He approaches it with such a beautiful spirit filled with courage and tenacity. He has exposed the dark side of our society that has its grips on us all. That we need to see, and don’t want to! He is willing, able, and ready for the next adventure – an adventure we should all go on with him. You just feel so inspired around him. This is why James O’Keefe is an award winner. We recognize James as a tireless, relentless, and creative journalist for the people. He makes us laugh and each new undercover expose’ helps us see the unseen. He captures a view that is often out of sight.
