Remember Robert Card?  The former military man that was treated by the U.S. Army for mental health and was referred to a civilian facility called Four Winds Psychiatric Hospital in Katonah, New York, and after getting that “help” went on a killing spree in Lewiston, Maine?  

According to the independent news outlet, Katie Hawkinson,  “spoke to experts” about the transfer of Card’s brain to Boston University to test it for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) caused by repetitive head trauma.  Results won’t be in for six to eight months.  Not surprisingly, the article makes it sound like the powers that be are prepping the public that no CTE will be found.

In the meantime, Maine has bought over decades, at taxpayer’s expense, millions of dollars in behavioral health contracts from a billion-dollar behavioral industry that stigmatizes their own clients with labels and then pumps them with dangerous mind-altering drugs that are linked to suicide and violence.  Amazingly, the flow of behavioral health legislation is written by the industry itself and implemented by the State.

AbleChild is honoring three investigative journalists for their achievements in protecting human rights by defending and supporting informed consent.  In addition, we will recognize an individual with an award for a lifetime of service.  Their dedication to the liberty of the human spirit has aligned directly with our mission of “informed consent.”  It is with great honor we share this moment with all our supporters.  The evening in Vero Beach, Florida will have some very interesting guests as well.   These talented and free spirited individuals have the courage it takes to release the strongholds wrapped around our individual liberties.

Join us as we celebrate these outstanding leaders and listen to their insights to overcome the challenges we face today.  Together our objective is to protect President Eisenhower’s Able Child and the National Defense Education Act.

The introduction of behavioral health training for police officers has been hailed as a positive step towards improving law enforcement response to the overwhelming mental health crisis of suicides and mass murders.  However, beneath the well-intentioned initiative lies a complex landscape of challenges and unintended consequences that need to be investigated.

What did the treating psychiatrist know about Robert Card, the Maine shooter before the police were involved?

CNN’s “deep” reporting of Lewiston Maine shooter, Robert Card, fails to explore crucial questions about communication, collaboration, and the shared responsibility for the well-being of individuals in crisis. 

When police are aware of an individual’s mental health status, it prompts a critical examination of what information psychiatrists, as mental health professionals, may possess and how this knowledge is communicated.

Law enforcement officers frequently find themselves on the front lines of interactions with individuals in various states of mental distress and too often on multiple psychiatric mind-altering drugs. Being aware of an individual’s mental health history can significantly impact the approach they take during encounters. So, it begs the questions about what the psychiatric industry knew about Robert Card prior to the shooting event and police intervention?

Was Robert Card, the Maine Mass Killer misdiagnosed by Psychiatry? What is the cost of the vast, vast, vast control psychiatry has in every aspect of our society? We need that lengthy conversation on the “mental health” system. It appears the government refuses to have it and has heavily invested our taxpayer dollars into this subjective labeling and drugging system. Sign our petition to be heard.

According to a New York Times article, “Mr. Card worked every summer for years as an instructor at an Army hand grenade training range, where he was rocked by thousands of brain-jarring explosions.”

The fact that the Maine shooter, Robert Card, may have had a medical condition, something along the lines of a concussion, isn’t new information. This information was previously reported, and it appeared that officials and the media were quick to dismiss it, or not mention it at all. Officials moved onto the concealment of the treating psychiatrist and downplaying Card’s mental health which the public still has not been made aware of what exactly was Card’s psychiatric diagnosis and, equally important, what psychiatric drugs had Card been prescribed.
